Being a full-time Tarot professional was never Nupur’s intention. She started her career in the corporate world as an HR professional. Despite being in a secure job, she felt an unfulfilled desire to connect with people on a deeper, more meaningful level. When her father jokingly once told her, “Why are you hell-bent upon working for somebody? You have a different path in life,” made her finally acknowledged the dissatisfaction she was feeling.
What started as a joke became a profound realization— her true path was to help others through tarot reading. Driven by this, Nupur left her stable job and embarked on the path of becoming a full-time tarot professional in 2007. Since then, she has been a student, a teacher, a mentor, a seeker, and a lifelong learner in this mystical field.

Tarot Rani provides two types of tarot card reading sessions: 60-minute and 30-minute consultations. However, due to a growing demand for her services, she now primarily conducts 30-minute sessions. This allows her to cater to more clients while ensuring quality guidance. She offers clarity on all aspects of life, such as career, love, finance and health. For the 30-minute Tarot Reading Session, Nupur charges INR 2,000, and for an in-depth one, it is INR 4,000.
Nupur focuses on a question-and-answer format, allowing her to understand her clients’ life and personality better. She helps her clients identify their roadblocks, shares future predictions as well as alternative options they can explore as remedy. She also provides them with remedies and actionable steps via text or email after the session. This approach is rooted in Nupur’s belief that tarot can serve as a tool for self-discovery and empowerment.

Starting Tarot Rani wasn’t without its challenges. One of the biggest hurdles Nupur faced was breaking the stereotypes associated with tarot readers. Usually with tarot readers, people expect to see women with flashy clothes and gaudy makeup, a stereotype, she didn’t fit at all.
Another challenges she faced was related to the acceptance of being a professional tarot reader from those around her. As such fields are at times seen as side-hustles or hobby crafts, she struggled with getting acceptance for it as a business she was building for herself. But instead of being discouraged, she embraced these challenges and worked hard to build credibility around her brand by focusing on authenticity and professionalism.
