Celebrating Exceptional, Inspirational Women from Different Walks of Life!

At Women Listed we not just provide women with increased visibility, but also celebrate them and their achievements. That’s why; every year we felicitate some stand out women from different fields for their talent, expertise, passion and dedication..

On 12th January, 2024, we celebrated the 3rd edition of the "Celebrating Excellence: 23 Women in 2023 Awards," honoring 23 remarkable women. These were women who have demonstrated their prowess in diverse areas, be it business, science, arts, technology, social service, sports, or any other field.

The Annual Awards were also a Meet and Greet of Experts and Industry Leaders from different fields, who have been associated or a part of Women Listed and Sipping Thoughts community.

Gracing the occasion with her presence was renowned classical dancer, Padma Shri Shovana Narayan, a trailblazer in her field and a beacon of inspiration in the realms of achievement and contribution. Speaking on the occasion Ms. Narayan said “Every woman is a force that reverberates strength and resilience. As we gather to honor these phenomenal women achievers across diverse fields, we should celebrate their empowerment, their ability to transform challenges into opportunities. Women are the true beacons of hope and possess an innate Shakti that can overcome any hurdles. Women all across embody the spirit of empowerment so let us inspire each other to embrace our inherent power”

Meeta Gutgutia, Founder of Women Listed and Co-Founder Sipping Thoughts, said, "Women who make up for 48% of the country’s population are showing their strength in every field. However their contribution to our country’s GDP is still limited to a mere 18%; when I read such statistics it made me wonder why is it so! That’s when I realized that one of the main problems which women professionals face is visibility. Most women-led businesses and services are still limited to being home-based or can only be found on social media or WhatsApp Groups. With Women Listed we want to give all such women a chance to showcase their work to a broader audience. We have listed thousands of women already and our Celebrating Excellence Award is just another way for us to showcase stories of remarkable women, felicitating them and inspiring others to come forward and enter the spotlight."

This year’s awards were also slightly different for Women Listed, as we opened the Awards up for Nominations as well. We invited nominations from Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals on Women Listed as well as from our Experts and Key Thought Leaders. We received more than 300 entries for the same, out of which we were elated to add 3 Women to be a part of our felicitation this year.

All the Awardees and Guests took this chance to connect and network at an Event that was all about Celebrating Women’s work, journey, struggles, grit and achievements. And the Event was a successful proof of Women coming together to Support each other. When women come together to cheer one another, wonders can happen!
