Inside the Vision of Prachi Kasliwal Dashora, Co-Founder of Sherringwood World School

May 28, 2025

In a world of cookie-cutter classrooms and outdated systems, Prachi Kasliwal Dashora is flipping the script. She’s not just running a school, she’s reinventing what it looks like for the next generation. From the heart of Indore, this firebrand entrepreneur is changing how India thinks about education, one fearless step at a time.

From Adland to Classrooms: A Bold Leap of Faith

Prachi’s journey didn’t start in a classroom; it started in advertising, with agencies like Saatchi & Saatchi Direct. But while she was crafting campaigns, something bigger was calling. She didn’t just want to sell ideas. She wanted to shape futures. So, in 2012, she launched Sherringwood World School with a bold mission: to make learning exciting, meaningful, and deeply human.

Where Kids Don’t Just Learn, They Come Alive

Sherringwood is Prachi’s vision in full color. Think of outdoor learning under trees. Think science fiction-level concepts like Quantum Science taught to young minds. Think art, music, and storytelling woven into everyday lessons. This isn’t education as usual, it’s education that sparks.

Small class sizes? Check. Future-ready classrooms? Definitely. A curriculum that treats creativity and critical thinking as essential skills? Absolutely. Prachi’s approach isn’t just smart, it’s electrifying.

A Leader Who Listens (and Leads With Heart)

What makes Prachi stand out isn’t just her ideas. It’s how she executes them—with empathy, clarity, and courage. She brings families into the learning process, even inviting grandparents to take part. Her leadership is collaborative, inclusive, and wildly effective.

Pandemic? Challenge Accepted

When COVID-19 hit, schools across the country struggled. But Prachi didn’t just react, she innovated. Sherringwood went hybrid, fast. Students got personalized learning plans. Teachers got trained. Tech became a bridge, not a barrier. And through it all, the school community got stronger.

In just one year, Sherringwood grew by 60% in revenue and added 32 new jobs. That’s not survival. That’s a glow-up.

The Awards Keep Coming

People are noticing. On March 1, 2025, Prachi was honored with the Women Listed Celebrating Excellence Award at the India Habitat Centre, Delhi. Before that, she took home the Swami Vivekananda National Award in 2024. These recognitions are proof that she’s shaking up the system and raising the bar.

Beyond the Blackboard

Prachi’s impact doesn’t stop at the school gates. She’s a proud member of the Della Leaders Club (Global CSR & Philanthropy Community), serves on the board of Meraki Indore, and co-chairs the International Women’s Network. She’s mentoring, advocating, and leading by example.

Why Parents Love Her

“Sherringwood changed everything for my child,” says one parent. “It’s not just a school. It’s a space where kids grow into thinkers, doers, and leaders. My child has become more confident, compassionate, and curious than ever.”

Sherringwood: A Mirror of Her Mission

Yes, Sherringwood is special. But it’s special because Prachi built it that way. It’s her values in action. Her courage in concrete form. Her proof that education can be exciting, radical, and future-ready.

She’s not just educating children. She’s lighting fires in minds. And she’s just getting started.
