Why We Created Wellness & Chai: Where Women in Wellness Find Their Voice

July 4, 2025

When we talk about women breaking barriers, we often spotlight startup founders, corporate leaders, and tech entrepreneurs — and rightly so. Their stories of scaling businesses and entering boardrooms inspire a generation.

But there’s another set of women making a quiet, powerful difference — the ones who hold space for others to heal, grow, and transform.

These are the healers, nutritionists, yoga therapists, mental health professionals, and alternative medicine practitioners. Many of them are solopreneurs. Many run conscious, homegrown brands. And nearly all of them are deeply committed to the wellbeing of others. But what often goes unnoticed is just how hard it is for these women to gain visibility for their work.

At Women Listed, we’ve had the chance to interact with countless wellness professionals, and a common thread runs through their journeys — while their work is life-changing, their reach often remains limited. Most of them are building alone, navigating everything from client work to content to logistics on their own. Their work is rooted in trust, sensitivity, and care — not in algorithms, ad spends, or marketing jargon.

That’s exactly why we created Wellness & Chai. It’s more than just an event — it’s a space. It's where visibility is built through connection, collaboration, and meaningful conversations.

We’re proud to welcome an inspiring group of women guest speakers and experts to engage in meaningful discussion and share their journeys at this edition of Wellness & Chai. Joining us are:

  • Kavita Devgan – one of India’s most respected nutritionists and the author of six bestselling books on wellness and food wisdom
  • Swagatika Das, Co-founder of Nat Habit – a brand rooted in traditional Ayurvedic beauty that now serves over two lakh loyal customers
  • Mrridula Bali – founder of Footprint Mrridula, an expert in occult sciences, sound healing, astrology, and intuitive life coaching
  • Gunjan Amrit Kocharr – transformational holistic health coach and spiritual mentor who will be opening the day with a deeply grounding morning session
  • And other women founders, therapists, and practitioners who are redefining wellness in modern India

Held on July 12 at Soulebration Farms, Delhi — this day is designed to include immersive sessions, inspiring panel talks, conscious networking, and curated showcases of women-led wellness brands. From Ayurveda to emotional healing, from yoga to nutrition — the event will feature voices and practices that deserve to be heard and seen.

More importantly, this is our invitation to stop treating wellness work as niche or supplementary. It’s central to how we live, work, and feel — and the women leading it deserve the spotlight too.

Visibility doesn’t have to be loud. It can be intentional, gentle, and deeply impactful. That’s the kind of visibility Wellness & Chai is here to build — one meaningful connection at a time.

If you’re a woman building a wellness practice, this is your space. And if you know one, invite her to join. Let’s create a space where women in wellness can be seen — powerfully, purposefully, and on their own terms.
