Dr. Namita Aggarwal is an internationally trained fitness expert. She is trained from Jackie Sorenson's Dance and Aerobic Workout in Australia, has received pilates equipment training from Claudel in Singapore, and has attended many workshops held by Reebok India. One of her key expertise is in Mat and Reformer Pilates, which are a type of exercise that improves stamina, posture, flexibility and more. She has almost 2 decades of experience as a pilates trainer and has also received an award from Bharat Nirman for spreading awareness about health and fitness.

Fitness Fusion, founded in 2003, is located in Vasant Kunj. The fully-equipped studio offers different types of pilates like reformer, mat, and aerial. 2. Monica Rastogi

Monica Rastogi has received training under Michael King in London for Spirals and Pilates for Pregnancy. She is also been certified by STOTT Pilates in Canada for mat, equipment, and ISP (injuries and special population). Monica has qualified American Council on Exercise (ACE) training as well, and holds certification in Barefoot Science by Evidence Based Fitness Academy (EBFA). She has attained the license for GYROTONIC® & GYROKINESIS® training also. The list of her certifications goes on. She is a pilates trainer who has worked with many ambassadors and their wives, expats, and even the Health Minister Abumani Ramados and his wife.

Founded by her, Studio Pilates Retreat, is situated in R.K. Puram and is exclusively for women. They offer pilates many health concerns such as lower back pain, depression and anxiety,  pregnancy, and even to help with rehabilitation after an injury. They have all the equipment you will need from Magic Ring, to Cadillac Trapeze.They offer group sessions for mat pilates, and private sessions for sessions with equipment.

3. Kitty Kalra

Kitty Kalra is a STOTT, Canada certified pilates instructor and entrepreneur. She started her career as a fitness expert in 2013, and has become the trainer for celebrities like Neha Dhupia, and Angad Bedi. She has attained the Bharat Nirman award, the AsiaSpa Wellfest 2018 Fit and Fabulous award, and the Wellness Award at the Delhiites Lifestyle Awards 2021. 

The training from this fitness expert can be received right at home. She posts workout tips on Instagram that can be done anywhere, like on your balcony, or on the stairs. She talks about the exercises, how many reps you will need, and how the movement affects your body. She also posts workouts for specific issues like back pain or tired feet, and also for specific goals like abs or arms. Apart from workout, she also shares recipes for healthy meals, and motivational posts to keep you inspired.

4. Taru Chaddha

Taru Chaddha, who started her own fitness journey in 2010, is a certified pilates trainer from STOTT school in Canada. She’s a fitness expert who is also certified in neurokinetic therapy, and has a specialization in prenatal, diastasis recti (caused by excessive inner abdominal pressure), and functional anatomy (the study of how our body structures function when it comes to movements). She was also the resident pilates instructor for the entire troupe of Cirque Du Soleil when they were visiting Delhi.

RedMat pilates studio, founded in 2012, has two branches in Gurgaon, and offer mat and reformer pilates both. They have group sessions or private ones, both in online and offline modes. They also offer consultancy and assessment to help you pick the pilates programme best suited for you. 

5. Namrata Purohit

Namrata Purohit founded The Pilates Studio at the age of 16 and she was the youngest STOTT pilates trainer in the world. She was 19 when she completed all of the courses offered by STOTT, Canada, and 21 when she wrote the book ‘The Lazy Girl’s Guide To Being Fit’. She has certifications for pole fitness from ‘The Pole Studio’, and a certification for ‘Bougie Bouncer’ Master India. She is a licensed instructor for Electric Muscle Stimulation (EMS), and a certified Barre instructor. She’s also received awards as a fitness instructor from ELLE and Vogue. She’s the pilates instructor of many Bollywood celebrities like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Sara Ali Khan. 

The Pilates Studio Delhi has branches in Vasant Vihar, Defence Colony, and Gurgaon. Their fully-equipped studios offer both private and group classes. They also offer prenatal, postnatal, and rehabilitation classes. Apart from pilates, they have sessions for Electric Muscle Stimulation as well.
