Aarushi Chawla didn’t set out to be a wellness coach. She started as a client—of every diet, every trend, every quick fix that promised weight loss. For most of her life, she struggled with obesity. “I personally struggled to find the right person to guide me,” she says. The lack of ethical, informed support in the nutrition space led her to experiment, learn, and ultimately take control of her health.
By the time she was 21, she had not only lost the weight but had also reversed lifestyle disorders by focusing on nutrition, movement, and habit change. She studied nutrition through formal certifications (Bodhi Nutrition, Precision Nutrition) and left behind her work with Ernst & Young and The Chopras to start something of her own. That’s how Nutrify with Aarushi was born—a one-woman operation focused on personalized, sustainable health coaching.
We first came across Aarushi’s story during our Wellness & Chai event at Women Listed, where she stood out in our Elevator Pitch Circle and won a spontaneous audience shoutout for her honest and heartfelt pitch.
A Journey Rooted in Real-Life Experience
With degrees from Jesus and Mary College and the University of Warwick, Aarushi had the academic chops—but it was her personal transformation that gave her business its foundation. She began creating meal and movement plans not from textbooks, but from what had worked for her. “Once I saw what I can achieve with constant care and habit formation, I couldn't wait to help people,” she says.
Her services include customized nutrition and fitness guidance, sleep improvement, supplement advice, and mental wellness support—particularly around food relationships. Her most popular offering is a 3-month package, designed to help clients make meaningful progress over 90 days. She also provides shorter and longer-term options, depending on the needs of the clients.
Her process is rooted in bio-individuality—understanding that no two people’s health needs are the same. Other core elements include gut cleanse techniques, non-restrictive eating, and food plating instead of calorie counting.
What Makes Her Work Different
Aarushi Chawla doesn’t claim to be a guru. She positions herself as a peer who’s been through it—someone who knows firsthand how frustrating and isolating weight loss can feel. “My own journey is my USP,” she says. “I approach people with empathy and act as their buddy rather than a teacher.”
That empathy shapes every part of her practice. She offers a safe space for clients to talk not just about food, but also body image and emotional triggers. She consciously avoids calorie-obsessed plans or one-size-fits-all approaches.
Though marketing and visibility were early challenges—“I used to disregard Instagram as a platform”—she gradually overcame them with intentional self-talk. Now, she regularly shares insights and client transformations across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
Building Credibility, One Step at a Time
Aarushi’s still in the early stages of building her venture, but she’s already making steady progress. She’s hosted two community events for clients at Greenr, Vasant Vihar, and has been featured on CNBC for a wellness-focused segment. Just as important, she’s showing up in real spaces—attending community-led initiatives like Wellness & Chai by Women Listed to connect, learn, and grow.
Her goals are clear: expand her business into three revenue streams, build a small in-house team, and reach at least 50 clients per month. She also wants to continue educating through podcasts, events, and workshops.
A Business with Purpose, Not Hype
What drives Aarushi isn’t vanity metrics or going viral. “I constantly set goals for myself in terms of my health journey,” she says. That self-accountability keeps her motivated. Her simple work-life boundaries—weekly off days, no phone after 7 PM, and one vacation a year—help her stay grounded.
To other women starting out, her advice is straightforward: “It’s never too late to start.” It’s that same mindset that helped Aarushi go from struggling client to confident guide — one habit, one client, and one meaningful conversation at a time.
