Real Estate is commonly viewed as a male-dominated field, with men traditionally occupying most leadership roles in property development, brokerage, construction, and real estate investment. However, meet Dr. Ananta Singh Raghuvanshi, who is challenging these norms and breaking every ceiling, making significant strides in the industry. For more than three decades now, Ananta has stood out as a Real Estate Tycoon. Currently, she is actively supporting and empowering women across diverse fields to participate in the real estate sector through her initiative “NAREDCO MAHI.”

Academic Pursuits And Professional Milestones

From the very beginning, Dr. Ananta Singh Raghuvanshi has had a thirst for knowledge, which led her to pursue multiple degrees in diverse fields. She is a PhD in Marketing Management. She has also completed the Executive Education program in Digital Marketing and Social Media Analytics from MIT Sloan School of Management, USA. 

Her career began at the age of 21 when she embarked on a sales and marketing job for financial independence, a journey she has continued ever since.  

She has held esteemed positions in various Real Estate companies, such as Executive Director at DLF, Chief Executive at Emaar MGF, and served as Senior Director overseeing India & Nepal as Country Head at Damac. Recently, Dr. Ananta held the position of Senior Executive Director at Experion Developers, a 100% FDI real estate developer.

Throughout her career spanning domestic and international firms, she has led pivotal strategic and operational responsibilities, overseeing diverse portfolios, including Sales & Marketing, Customer Care, Advertising, Market Research, Public Relations, and high-value business transactions.

NAREDCO MAHI Initiative: Bridging The Gender Gap In Realty Sectors

In 2021, Dr. Ananta, along with her four co-founders, launched a women’s leadership initiative called “NAREDCO MAHI,” operating under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. NAREDCO MAHI is a national association of real estate development that actively encourages women to enter the Real Estate Sector and allied fields, aiming to improve gender parity. The initiative doesn’t solely focus on entrepreneurs or corporate executives; it also aims to support and enhance the lives of women working as laborers at construction sites by providing skill development opportunities and supporting their children. Dr. Ananta has formed a group of over 110 female Mahi volunteers who coach female entrepreneurs and mentor rural executives.

Celebrating Dr. Ananta’s Contribution To The Real Estate Industry And Beyond

With over 30 years dedicated to the Indian Real Estate industry, Dr. Ananta has received numerous accolades for her outstanding work. She was featured among the “Most Powerful Women In Business & Economy 2018” and recognized as a Top 100 World Marketing Leader. She also holds the title of Mentor of Change - Gold Badge for Niti Aayog’s Atal Innovation Mission and was honored with the Society Achievers Award 2022 by the Honorable CM of Maharashtra. 

Beyond her trailblazing work in real estate, she is an esteemed TedX speaker. Moreover, she has been a keynote speaker at prestigious institutions such as SRCC, IIT Kanpur, and the Cambridge UK Asia Summit. She is also an author known for her unique, witty, conversational writing style.

Dr. Ananta Singh Raghuvanshi is not just a groundbreaking figure in the real estate industry but also an educator, empowering other women to follow suit. Her impactful leadership serves as an inspiration, fostering a new generation of women aspiring to excel in the real estate sector.
